Any Mac Users Out There?

My computer died.
HOWEVER.....it was a PC (and a pretty new one too :explosion:) so I will most likely be converting to a Mac, especially since I will be going to an art school in a couple of months. The problem is, I have never owned a Mac, much less and Apple product (haha, I know it's crazy 0_o). I have no idea what kind of Mac I should buy, but I have to keep in mind it has to have what I need for art school.
Anyone have any suggestions? Or warnings? :shrug:
